This video is an in depth tutorial on the basics of InDesign. It focuses on things like the interface, tools, and how to set up a document. I think tools like the text tool and placing images will be easy for me to learn because they seem similar to things I’ve used before in other Adobe design apps. However, things like paragraph styles and text wrap seem a little more complicated and will probably take practice to fully understand.

What I found interesting is how organized everything is with panels and styles. It seems like once you learn it, it could make designing faster and more consistent. I could use these tools for making posters or even social media layouts, which is helpful for things like my major (marketing) or school projects.

This video tutorial was shorter and more simple, which made it easier to follow. It covered basic tools like pages, layers, text, and exporting files. I think these basic tools will be easy for me because it was more of an overview and didn’t go too deep into complicated features.

I liked how quickly it showed how everything connects, like how you can build a page layout using text and images together. I think I would use these tools to quickly create simple designs like class assignments or posters. The most interesting part was how fast you can create something once you understand the layout tools.

This video tutorial is very detailed and walks through creating an actual project. I think tools like adding text and images will be easy, but things like linking text boxes and working with columns might be harder at first. It seems like there are a lot of small details you have to pay attention to.

What I found interesting is how professional the final designs look. I could see myself using these tools for bigger projects like presentations. It also showed how InDesign is more advanced than other apps, which makes it useful but also a little harder to learn at the beginning.
